| Waterproofing and protection
operations for the oldest wall of the Grand Umayyad Mosque, on the south
side.
In this extremely
difficult operation, a very special polymer was used as the base treatment
on the most important wall in the Grand Umayyad Mosque. The crumbling
of this wall over the years persuaded the authorities to come up with
a restoration plan to preserve this important historical building. |
